What is the one saying that your parents said to you that you absolutely hate?
Submitted by victoriassecret.
EVERY FREAKING TIME MY MOTHER SAYS, 'PRECIOUS'.
She says it in such a bitchy, annoying tone that I can't handle it.
How do you handle phone calls from telemarketers?
I tell them I'm not over eighteen and my parents are not available.
Occasionally, I'll listen.

Okay, I need to sleep.
I've had a headache all day, so I didn't go to my night class.
I just slept. I think I've slept more today than I have all week.
Also, I've had nothing to eat except for two pieces of toast, that I ate at about midnight.
I feel.... sick. And kind of down.
I don't mean to be such a drag, seriously, but I feel stuck in this rut that I can't get out of.
Can't someone just come and pull me out?
Which household chores do you most/least enjoy?
Submitted by falcon.kmc.
If you know me at all, you'll know I'm not exactly into the whole chore thing. I'll do things if and when they need to be done, but I'm not going to spend my whole day doing chores because that's boring.
However, I'd have to say the chore I enjoy most (kind o an oxymoron there isn't it?) is laundry. The smell of new laundry, is absolutely the best. Like, when it's right from the drier? And it still has that nice, clean, fabric sheet scent. Or even better, when it's a crappy day outside, and you do laundry and pull a favourite sweater or jeans from the drier and put them on, still nice and warm. Yeah. That's the best.
My least favourite... probably dusting. This house, was built in 1913, so it has all the old wooden floors, high base boards and large door frames... so the dust just collects like there's no tomorrow. My room also has too many bird feathers, from Aki and Hiro. Which get everywhere and are annoying. Too bad they're so cute.

The Walrus and The Carpenter
By: Lewis Carroll
The sun was shining on the sea,
Shining with all his might:
He did his very best to make
The billows smooth and bright--
And this was odd, because it was
The middle of the night.
The moon was shining sulkily,
Because she thought the sun
Had got no business to be there
After the day was done--
"It's very rude of him," she said,
"To come and spoil the fun!"
The sea was wet as wet could be,
The sands were dry as dry.
You could not see a cloud, because
No cloud was in the sky:
No birds were flying overhead--
There were no birds to fly.
The Walrus and the Carpenter
Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
Such quantities of sand:
"If this were only cleared away,"
They said, "it would be grand!"
"If seven maids with seven mops
Swept it for half a year.
Do you suppose," the Walrus said,
"That they could get it clear?"
"I doubt it," said the Carpenter,
And shed a bitter tear.
"O Oysters, come and walk with us!"
The Walrus did beseech.
"A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk,
Along the briny beach:
We cannot do with more than four,
To give a hand to each."
The eldest Oyster looked at him,
But never a word he said:
The eldest Oyster winked his eye,
And shook his heavy head--
Meaning to say he did not choose
To leave the oyster-bed.
But four young Oysters hurried up,
All eager for the treat:
Their coats were brushed, their faces washed,
Their shoes were clean and neat--
And this was odd, because, you know,
They hadn't any feet.
Four other Oysters followed them,
And yet another four;
And thick and fast they came at last,
And more, and more, and more--
All hopping through the frothy waves,
And scrambling to the shore.
The Walrus and the Carpenter
Walked on a mile or so,
And then they rested on a rock
Conveniently low:
And all the little Oysters stood
And waited in a row.
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."
"But wait a bit," the Oysters cried,
"Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!"
"No hurry!" said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.
"A loaf of bread," the Walrus said,
"Is what we chiefly need:
Pepper and vinegar besides
Are very good indeed--
Now if you're ready, Oysters dear,
We can begin to feed."
"But not on us!" the Oysters cried,
Turning a little blue.
"After such kindness, that would be
A dismal thing to do!"
"The night is fine," the Walrus said.
"Do you admire the view?
"It was so kind of you to come!
And you are very nice!"
The Carpenter said nothing but
"Cut us another slice:
I wish you were not quite so deaf--
I've had to ask you twice!"
"It seems a shame," the Walrus said,
"To play them such a trick,
After we've brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!"
The Carpenter said nothing but
"The butter's spread too thick!"
"I weep for you," the Walrus said:
"I deeply sympathize."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.
"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.
How have people mispronounced your name? How is it supposed to sound?
Submitted by Lorie.
Oh man, this question seriously made me laugh.
For some reason, people just cannot pronounce or remember my name. I think it's more of a memory thing, than a 'I can't say it' thing. I often get Adrianna or Andrea.
But the reason it made me laugh, is that for the first summer at the Glenview, Mr. A called me Andrea. I have no idea why, and I never corrected him. The second summer, it was magically Adrienne again. Funny thing is, he did the same thing to Amanda (or, Amanada as I like to call her). He also calls Nicole Smiley, Shanda Sparkles and Nathan Nason. Ah. NASON is now an inside joke at the campground, because due to numerous attempts to get Mr. A to correct it, it's always Nason.
There was one time, two guys came in and paid me for wood, but I told them to go across to the gatehouse and pick it up there. The one guy goes to me, 'Can you give me some kind of secret word so the guy will know that I paid?' So I was like eh, why not. So I said, 'Sure, tell him, "NASON"'. They laughed, looked at me a bit oddly but went on their happy way over to the gatehouse. About ten minutes later Greg comes in and goes, 'Did you just tell some guy to give me the password of Nason!?' Hahaha.
Ah. Oh Jellystone. How I miss you when you're closed.
What method do you use to prepare your coffee or tea?
Submitted by AgentBouche.
I only drink tea, but there are a couple ways that I make it.
The first, being the easiest, is to toss a teabag into a cup (and for some reason, I usually drink out of travel mugs because they're bigger), boil the water, pour the hot water in, let steep for a few minutes, remove teabag and voila! Sometimes, instead of a teabag I use loose tea leaves, in a little catcher thing that my mum got me for Christmas.
The second way, would be to put enough loose leaves or bags into the teapot, boil the water, and pour it in the teapot to let it steep. Then pour that into my cup. I usually do that when there's someone else having it with me, otherwise it just gets cold and is a waste, because I take forever to drink my tea. ^^'
If you were told you could relive a moment in your life, which would you choose?
Submitted by Slight Diffusion.
I would definitely like to go back to February 25th, 2005.
First, I wouldn't let Wouter make me feel self-conscience about going.
Then, I'd say something to him. Something meaningful, and something useful. Something not retarded but totally memorable. Something sweet and cute.
I'm choosing the 25th, over a few other dates, because if I had said something that night, who knows what would have happened all the other times I could have spoken to him, but didn't.
What's the best thing since sliced bread?

Haha. No.
Well, yes. But no.
The internet. Is the best thing. Since sliced bread. Because it's useful and stuff.
