It's been a while since I wrote here kind of, hasn't it.
Seeing as for a while there, I was spamming... more or less.
So. What's new.
School will be over for this semester in a couple of weeks.
I have two essays and a project to do, plus two exams. Mind you I haven't started a thing.
Naturally.
I should be thinking of school and all that, but there's only a couple of things that I can seem to think about.
One, is completely lame, haha. And, I've probably talked about it far too much, so I do apologize to my friends for putting up with me. I'm still waiting, to see what's going to happen. I don't even know what I want to hear, to be honest. I get scared so easily, and of course I want it to work out... the way I want it to. It never does. But that doesn't stop me from wanting it to.
Anyways.
So my kids. I gotta talk about my kids.
Last week, Sara did her first lesson WITHOUT HER MUM! It was awesome. She paid attention really well, and tried. This week, her mum came in again. And she didn't as well... I don't know if it's because her mum is there or not. I think it's more that she has off and on days, but I think next week I might ask her mum to see if we can try the lesson without her being in the room again, and see how it goes. She's really nice, and she even asked if I thought that was maybe the reason Sara was being all silly and shy. But, in BIG AND EXCITING NEWS! Sara's mum told me, that last night, she practiced BY HERSELF WITHOUT BEING ASKED for like, the first time. That's so awesome! AND her flashcards were amazing today! She's a really smart kid.

I wrote this on my virb, but it's so cute I have to write it here.
So, last week. You know, how I got my hair permed? Well, last week he tells me that he likes my hair better straight. He said, that he doesn't think it looks bad permed, but straight is more "Me". He backed that up with the statement, "I want to be a fashion designer, so I have to like know these kind of things".
I think I almost fell off my chair. He's so cute.
This week too he said something funny, but I can't remember what it was. He gets goofy sometimes, but it ends up being funny, and he usually knows when to drop it and actually do what I ask.
He's a great student to have. ^^
Now, Leanne quit two weeks ago. So I got two new students.
Briana and Sierra. I've taught them both before (Briana only once, however). and they're both nice girls.
Briana is actually a lot like Whitney, they're both in the same place in their book, and both really quick. I thought of putting them in a class, but I'm hesitating... I think they'd both work better in individual lessons, you know?
Anyways, she's a nice girl. Quiet, but I don't know if that's because she doesn't really know me yet... she really hates making mistakes. Today I asked her... if she did. She said yeah, I do. I said, Haha, I can tell. But I told her that she has to make a lot in order to get better, and I said, you have no idea how many really horrible mistakes on the piano I've made; don't worry, you can make them. And I think that made her feel a little better.
Next is Whitney~. She's doing good still, but there are a few areas I'd like to work a little more on. Especially with touch... everything is loud and fast. But when you're eight, that's the fun way to play things. So I understand where she's coming from... she's doing her exam in June. O_O She started STARTED from the very beginning knowing nothing in October, and she's already doing an exam in June.
I know she can do it, and I'm sure she can do decently. We'll be starting yet another new book in a week or two.
Sierra! One of my new ones. She's so tiny! She's really adorable, I don't know how old she is... I think, she might look younger than she really is. She's super super quiet, not really shy... but quiet. And I think she needs a little more confidence to really progress more. She calculates everything so carefully before she plays it, so it sometimes takes a while to get through a song. But that's something we can work on. ^^ Val told me, that she overheard her, her sister and her mum talking and her mum said that she was glad I was her new teacher! That makes me glad and a little relieved. I was worried that because Leanne was both Sierra and Briana's teacher before, that they might not like me as much.
Then we have Alisha. She's coming Monday's now, because that works out better for a while. This girl kills me too, she has such a personality! She's a really nice kid. And! I think she's been working really hard lately. Last week, her stuff was a lot better and she tried really hard in her lesson! I was really proud of her! I told her mum, who also praised her, so I think that if that continues to happen, she'll continue to do better and better. When I was in Japan in Sept, her mum told me when I got back that she'd been working hard on the new song because she wanted to impress me when I got back. ^^
Tonight, I had one of Bev's little ones for an hour. Her name is Jordan, and I think she's five. She's missed a good five lessons, so she's behind her class. She is absolutely adorable, and such a smart girl! Dude, we got so many new songs! I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but for a five year old, from 7:30 - 8:30 at night? That. Is amazing. She sat still, behaved. She got a bit tired, so we took a break and played flashcards. Her mum dresses her so cutely, haha.
I want one so I can dress them up cute. (Omg, Ailea, I should add that to my list of questions, along with, "take a picture of yourself half naked so I can post it in my fourm, HAHA).
I know this is long.
But this has been on my mind.
Almost every day, I get this lecture, about how I have to eat. Or eat more.
Okay, so yeah. I don't eat much. I could probably go all day without eating, and not be bothered by it.
I honestly have absolutely no appetite. I have no idea why. I'm not really sick anymore (had a cold, lost my voice, good times, good times). But I just am never hungry. My mind tells me I should eat, but I just don't feel hungry at all, so it's hard to force yourself to make something when you don't feel like eating it.
Does that make sense?
Anyways. I don't know what's up with that.
I also never sleep. Haha.
No I do.
But lately I can't go to sleep before four or so. No idea why.

Hm, one I got when I was ironing a towel (don't even ask) and I accidentally hit the iron with the back of my hand. It's a tiny scar though. My big scar, I got from surgery I had when I was born, due to lack of working intestineness.

Paint. And paintings.

It's green, and cute. It has a couple of cell phone charms hanging off it, including Bunny, who saved the cell phone one day. It was truly amazing. I bought Bunny at the shrine in Oosu, and I was walking from the dorm to the subway one day (to a live, naturally) and I was checking the time or my email or something on my phone, and I accidentally dropped it. BUT, bunny caught hold my headphones wire and saved the day! *CHEERS* It was seriously awesome.

If you're my friend, you can ask for anything and I'll probably give it to you. But if I don't know you? That's just rude and lame.

Of course. Anyone who says otherwise is in denial. I'm not saying looks are the most important thing, but they do matter. Let's be realistic. I saw on the news once, that they did this experiment. They had two teachers that were basically the same in skill and had a similar disposition and personality, however, one was stereotypically "pretty" and the other one wasn't. They had each teacher teach the same class and asked the kids which teacher they preferred. Every single child said the prettier teacher, and when asked why, a lot of them said because she was pretty. That makes me feel like I'm screwed, haha.

I guess I can do it the round about way, and claim that if you know me at all, you would probably realize which dream I'd want to come true the most. And no, don't think about him, or him or anything like that. Just in a broad sense, that's what I want. I haven't had to have already met the person yet.
How do you handle phone calls from telemarketers?
I tell them I'm not over eighteen and my parents are not available.
Occasionally, I'll listen.

I've had a headache all day, so I didn't go to my night class.

Yeah, I used to try all the time. Actually, just the other day I had a revelation about a dream I have often... admittedly I can't remember what the dream was or what the revelation was now, but at the time, it was seriously insightful, haha.

In my room here? No. In Japan I did, because the walls were so stark and bare. But here, I have paintings and the walls are blue, so no.

Haha, we used to write a lot of songs. Although, the best is the Mr. Mackey (Macky? Mackie?) song that we made up in gymnastics. Mr. Mackey (maybe this is spelt wrong, but oh well) was a grade seven teacher, until I was in grade six, then he retired and became the "Resource Center" ... caretaker? Or whatever. He also drove the school bus, including the bus to and from the club we used to go to every Wednesday for gymnastics. He always drove fast and kind of crazy, so we made this song. It's been a while since we've sung it (obviously, haha) so it might be a bit off... this is how I remember it though:

Hm. I can honestly say I don't remember any of the poems I've written. I DO remember that in grade eleven (or twelve) we had to do a poetry assignment, and make a collection of poems that we had written and submit it. They had to all be new poems, and so I did that. And my teacher thought that I had used a poem I used the year before, which, I hadn't. I was seriously annoyed because I'd worked hard on them all. -_-'

Wow, okay. So, my walls are blue, and I have a desk (but it's really just drawers) and above the desk are shelves on both sides. One houses mostly magazines and CDs while the other has random books and stuff I have no where else to put so I just shove it into the shelves. Then there's my bird cage, with Aki and Hiro. Then, two tables one of which has a lamp on it, because the fan / light that's on the ceiling is REALLY bright. My bed is a futon... and I have random stuff on the arms, like a teacup, bottles of water, nailpolish. My closet doors are two giant mirrors and ... my closet is crammed with clothes and shoes (all the ones that aren't on the floor). Then I have my laundry hamper... and garbage can... plus the TV, DVD players and router that are mounted on a wall / shelf. Oh, and on the floor (that's wooden) is a white, round carpet.

Which household chores do you most/least enjoy?

If you know me at all, you'll know I'm not exactly into the whole chore thing. I'll do things if and when they need to be done, but I'm not going to spend my whole day doing chores because that's boring.
However, I'd have to say the chore I enjoy most (kind o an oxymoron there isn't it?) is laundry. The smell of new laundry, is absolutely the best. Like, when it's right from the drier? And it still has that nice, clean, fabric sheet scent. Or even better, when it's a crappy day outside, and you do laundry and pull a favourite sweater or jeans from the drier and put them on, still nice and warm. Yeah. That's the best.
My least favourite... probably dusting. This house, was built in 1913, so it has all the old wooden floors, high base boards and large door frames... so the dust just collects like there's no tomorrow. My room also has too many bird feathers, from Aki and Hiro. Which get everywhere and are annoying. Too bad they're so cute.
